Dr. Maik Gibson, teacher of Sociolinguistics at i-Delta, is the Head of the Translation Studies Department at NEGST, Africa International University, Nairobi, and an international sociolinguistics consultant with SIL International. He holds a PhD in linguistics from the University of Reading and a Masters from Cambridge University, and has published articles on sociolinguistics and language change.
