Leila Schroeder
Leila Schroeder has worked in Africa for twenty years. Before joining
Wycliffe/SIL, Leila earned a Masters' degree in Urban Education with
Bilingual Emphasis. When she joined SIL, Leila started a PhD program in
Applied Linguistics, which she has never completed! She is currently an
International Literacy and Education consultant, specializing in African
orthography issues and multilingual education. Her husband, Kent, writes
language software, most notably to her: a literacy package called PrimerPro.
Leila and Kent have two grown daughters and a son-in-law.
