Rob Thar is from the United States and holds a Masters degree in Language Development with an emphasis on Scripture Use from the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics in Dallas, Texas. He has spent over 17 years ministering in West Africa with his wife, Lois, and sons, John and Peter.  He has been Scripture Use Coordinator for SIL’s work in Togo and Benin since 2005.
